Some types of moss are good for top cover fo...Troy,<br />Some types of moss are good for top cover for bonsai like the type pictured. Other types, like spagnum, are used for companion plantings and such. If you do find a lot perhaps you should take some to your nearest bonsai club. Occasionally I find very nice sheets of moss growing on the loose debris on roofs. Is there any value to my finds?
